HIGH QUALITY F.W. HEYM 20 GA BOXLOCK SHOTGUN IMPORTED BY GRIFFIN & HOWE.F.W. HEYMSxS57420MODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 26" Krupp fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Chokes Cyl/Full. Full length matted rib with brass front bead. Dbl triggers,auto ejectors, auto safety, scalloped boxlock action with sculpted frame and side clips. Straight grip buttstock checkered in four-point pattern with checkered side panels which end in a nicely appointed teardrop and 14" LOP over checkered butt. Receiver is nicely scroll engraved with wave border patterns and floral screws. Side clips are deeply sculptured with rose bouquet. Bottom of frame follows same scroll and flower pattern. Trigger guard bow with scroll engraving. Cocking indicators on top of frame with deeply sculptured oak leaf on fences. Long splinter forearm checkered in four-point pattern with Deeley release and triangular ebony tip. Gold inlaid "S" in front of safety. Weight: 5 lbs. 2 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain approx 90% of older restored blued finish with scattered light handling marks and scratches. Receiver retains traces of orig color with light staining. Buttstock and forearm have been restored many years ago and retain most of their custom finish with scattered hunting bumps. There is an old repair on right side top tang which is stable and insipient crack behind top tang. Bores are excellent. Mechanics are very good. 51564-5 JSL (1,500-2,500)
