GUARDLESS COFFIN HILTED BOWIE KNIFE.This knife appears to be an old copy of one of the rarest style early American Bowie knives. German silver mounted, wood grip, 13-1/2" overall, 8-1/4" clip point blade, 1-1/2" wide, .21" thick at ricasso. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good overall. Blade is mottled grey with staining and pitting. Grip is sound with raised grain and retains complete mounts and pins. 51548-1 JS (2,000-3,000)
