EARLY STYLE CLOTH ENLISTED MAN'S FIELD COVER FOR THE 79TH REGIMENT.Fine conditioned cloth field cover of an early pattern with the spike bag attached to cloth body. On front of field cover is red "79". Inside back of cover are regimental's stamping "JR79/2/1.C". Cloth cover mounted to helmet with 4 hooks (2 front, 2 back).
