HENRY DERINGER SINGLE SHOT PISTOL.HENRY DERINGERPHILADELPHIA DERRINGERNSN40Cal. 40. This is a nice, honest example of an Antebellum Philadelphia Deringer pistol which measures 5-1/4" overall, with 2-1/2" bbl including breech. German silver mounted with iron hinged cap door in butt. Lock and bbl are both marked "DERINGER / PHILADELA". Mounts, lock, hammer and tang are florally engraved. CONDITION: Very good overall. Metal is grey overall with no finish. Crisp markings and engraving. Gun appears orig and complete. Mechanically gun functions well with rusted bore and discernible 7-groove rifling.
