GORGEOUS HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION MARLIN MODEL C GRADE 12 GAUGE PUMP SHOTGUN.MARLIN19-C7359712GAMODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 30" "Special Smokeless Steel" bbl. Choke FULL. Plain bbl with small steel front bead. Gorgeous flame grained walnut buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with Creedmore grip and 13-5/8" LOP over orig Marlin lined HRBP. Checkered forearm. Receiver is tastefully engraved in typical C Grade pattern with 4 flying ducks in marsh scene on left, 2 flying pigeons on right of action and right receiver with simple scroll. SN on bottom of frame surrounded by engraved floral pattern. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 7 ozs. PROVENANCE: Estate collection of Russell Grinnell. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and receiver retain approximately 95-97% orig blue finish. Slide with approximately 85-90% orig blue finish. Loading gate retains more than half of its orig blue. Trigger guard tang and bow have toned. There is a minute loss on left side of buttstock at frame, otherwise stocks are sound and in excellent orig condition with only light minor handling marks and a few scratches. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. These high grade Marlin's are very pretty guns and no American shotgun collection is complete without one. 52206-4 JSL (2,750-4,000)
