WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE.WINCHESTER189427060232-40MODERN; C&RCal. 32-40. 20" rnd bbl, full magazine, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with steel carbine buttplate. Bbl shows 2-line Winchester address rolled in front of rear sight with Cal. mark to the rear of sight. Standard carbine sights. Receiver has had saddle ring removed, staple is still present. Upper tang is marked "MODEL 1894 / WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK". SN stamped on bottom of frame at front. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine tube show grey/brown patina overall with traces of blue. Bbl has some slight roughness toward the muzzle. Front sight has been trimmed. Rear sight has shim. Markings are sharp and clear. Bore is very frosty with visible rifling. Receiver retains traces of blue in protected areas with the balance turning a mottled silver/grey patina. Hammer and lever both show a grey/brown patina. Stocks are good, almost full sized and may have been lightly cleaned. Stocks show handling marks overall and a few white paint spots. Mechanics are fine. A chance to get a Winchester 1894 carbine in a rare caliber. 52405-14 TEP (800-1,200)
