COLT 44 CALIBER SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER WITH 5 INCH BARREL. COLT SAA 85606/149743 44 ESA Cal. 44. This gun has been refinished, bbl shortened to 5" . No SN visible on bbl, though small "44" is stamped on bottom. 1-line Hartford address. Left front trigger bow also marked "44CF". CONDITION: Good as refinished, bbl cut to 5" with no crowning, dove tailed sight with brass blade, markings are all discernible. Front blade sight is replaced. Backstrap is orig to time of refinish SN 149743. Ivory grips fit well and appear to be orig Colt manufacture with screwed wood block construction.
