VERY FINE CONTEMPORARY SIDE BY SIDE BUCK AND BALL FLINTLOCK SIGNED "D. LAMOTTE".D. LAMONTDOUBLE RIFLENSN.50Cal. .50. 49-1/2" overall, 35" heavy oct bbls, one rifled; one smooth, weighing in at a whopping 14-1/2lbs. German silver mounted with incised carving. Patchbox finial terminates as spread-wing eagle and another eagle is inset in cheekpiece, stocked in a fine piece of tiger striped maple. CONDITION: Very fine plus overall. Gun appears to have seen very little use with crisp mechanics and bright shiny bores. Bbls retain most of their thin rust brown finish. Stock and mountings sound and well fit. 51873-26 JS (750-1,500)
