VERY FINE DAGESTINI STYLE CAUCASIAN GOLD AND SILVER MOUNTED MIQUELET PISTOL, CIRCA 1820. OSMAN ALI FLINTLOCK PISTOL NSN 56 Cal. 56. This elegant pistol measures 20" overall with 14" cannon muzzle bbl with relief carving and gold inlay mounted on Circassian walnut with beautiful grain. CONDITION: Very good to fine overall. Steel has a mottled gray patina with some wear to gold inlays especially on bottom of muzzle and left side of spherical steel butt. Over 95% of gold decoration is retained. Engraved sheet silver nosecap and lock shroud have silver/gray patina. Stock is sound with hand-worn patina. Mechanically fine with smooth pitted bore. 52632-18 JS (4,000-6,000)
