REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP ATTRIBUTED TO MORGAN.MORGANTable lamp has reverse painted shade and is attributed to John Morgan & Sons. The shade has bands of red and blue flower with green leaves with geometric panels above the floral band. The shade rests on a cast metal base with medallions of art nouveau women's heads on each of the four sides of the foot. The stem is decorated with a stylized leaf design and leads to a 2-socket cluster. The base is finished in a rich reddish/brown patina. Base numbered 424, shade is unsigned. SIZE: Shade 11-3/4" dia. Lamp 19-1/2" t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some very minor oxidation to paint. Base is very good to excellent. Re-wired with appropriate cloth cord. 52760-6 DAB (700-1,000)
