EXTREMELY FINE SAVAGE NO. 4 MK I* US PROPERTY WWII ENFIELD .303 RIFLE. SAVAGE 4 52C4335 303 MODERN; C&R Cal. .303. 25" bbl. "U.S.PROPERTY" on top left of receiver. All matching numbers including orig mag. All parts marked with Savage "S" including wood. There do not appear to be any British proofs on this gun. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine showing minimal handling marks. All markings clear. Wood is fine with minor handling marks. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Mechanics are crisp. There are no cartridge marks on bolt face or in chamber.
