NEAT WINCHESTER MODEL 12 28 GAUGE SHOTGUN WITH CUSTOM EMBELLISHMENT.WINCHESTER12114976628MODERN; C&RCal. 28 ga. 27-1/2" solid matted rib bbl with brass mid and steel front bead. 2-7/8" chamber. Choke marked "SKEET". Fancy flame grained American walnut buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-3/8" LOP over Winchester brand buttplate. Custom forearm checkered on sides with diamond pattern at center. Receiver is nicely engraved with pointer in woods scene on left and flying geese in marsh scene on right surrounded by a few burst of light scroll engraving. Bottom of magazine tube with modern Pigeon engraved head of SN. All visible SN match. WEIGHT: 7 lbs 4 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine as custom finished from stem to stern. Bbl and magazine tube retain virtually all of their custom blued finish as does receiver. Bbl markings are contemporary. Buttstock and forearm retain nearly all of their custom finish with just a few light scattered handling marks and are attractive custom replacements. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine.
