EXCEPTIONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN ORIGINAL WINCHESTER SHIPPING BOX.WINCHESTER6125705322RFW/BOXMODERN; C&RCal. 22 RF. 24" rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, full blue finish, nicely figured American walnut stocks with plain pistol grip and checkered steel buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side behind rear sight. "WP' proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. Receiver is grooved for a scope mount. Standard sights. SN appears on bottom of receiver and on trigger guard adjacent to receiver mark. Numbers match. Stocks show some nice feather grain toward butt. Accompanying box has orig craft paper. End label of box is numbered to this rifle. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Rifle shows nearly all of orig blue finish. Receiver has some minuscule scratches on both sides with some slight high-point wear. Stocks also show some minuscule handling marks. Rifle was not assembled. Box is very good, intact with one break on side of lid. Label is clear and intact. An opportunity to obtain a nearly new Model 61 Winchester rifle. 53080-55 TEP (1,750-2,750)
