VERY FINE WINCHESTER SHOT-ONLY MODEL 61 PUMP .22 WITH MATTED RECEIVER.WINCHESTER615162622LMODERN; C&RCal. .22L rifle. Shot-only marked 24" rnd smooth bore bbl with bead front sight and no provision for rear sight. Blue finish overall with 2pc walnut stocks with 17-groove forearm. These rare 22 shot-only Winchesters were utilized as garden guns as well as for target shooting of miniature clay pigeons. Examples in fine condition are quite uncommon. CONDITION: Very fine overall as most all factory finish remains on the walnut stocks. A slight amount of light surface corrosion is evident on receiver and exterior of bbl. This corrosion could be easily cleaned enhancing the rifle. The smooth bore is very fine. Mechanics are crisp and functioning properly.
