TWO RARE "TOP SECRET" MILITARY MAPS SHOWING THE PROPOSED OMAHA BEACH D-DAY ASSAULT.

1) 21-1/2" x 16" exposed area, prepared by Commander Task Force 122, April 21, 1944. "OMAHA BEACH-EAST", "TOP SECRET - BIGOT". This map shows in larger scale areas on the previous map with ink changes to a couple of code names of landing points as can be seen in photographs. Maps are museum mounted under UV glass w/acid-free archival backing and mats. SIZE: CONDITION: Both maps appear fine with folds, creasing. Excellent color with some soiling to one panel of map 1) reverse. Maps not examined out of frames. 53125-1 JS (4,000-6,000)
