Lot contains: A) Pattern 1839 small U.S. belt plate with single arrow hook/tongue reverse. Reverse maker marked "J.L. Pittman". B) Pattern 1839 small U.S. belt plate with three wire hook reverse. C) Pattern 1839 small U.S. belt plate with single arrow hook/tongue reverse. In unissued condition retaining most of its original gilt finish. D) Pattern 1839 small U.S. cartridge box plate retaining both iron loops on the reverse. Reverse marked "Boyd & Sons Boston". E) Pattern 1839 small SNY cartridge box plate retaining both of its iron loops on the reverse. CONDITION: Excellent. From the Ray Bentley collection.
