Lot contains: A) Pair of Civil War period U.S. Navy Rear Admiral's shoulder straps. CONDITION: Showing age toning to the bullion and minor wear to the black wool. B) Pair of World War II period U.S. Navy Rear Admiral's shoulder boards. CONDITION: Excellent. C) Pair of post Civil War U.S. Army cased artillery Major's shoulder straps. The shoulder straps with deeply toned bullion, red velvet centers and leather backing embossed " E. Stillwell & Son 25 Barbican London". Velvet lined, fitted case with hinged covers embossed on the face "Major Turner U.S. Army". CONDITION: Excellent. D) Pair of cased Model 1902 Brigadier General's epaulettes. The bright gold epaulettes feature bullion spread-wing eagles, silver bullion stars and Federal rimless eagle buttons. The reverse faced in morocco leather and deep red velvet. Housed in a Japanned tin case. CONDITION: Epaulettes are in excellent condition showing only minor wear. Case has moderate wear and a broken latch. From the Ray Bentley collection.
