Lot contains: A) Nickle plated M1 bayonet dated 1943 with enameled 7th Division insignia mounted on the handle, back strap engraved "To Brig Gen Ralph J. Butchers From The Officers And Men Of The Seventh Infantry Division". B) Bronzed, white metal standing bear mounted on a marble base, on which is mounted a brass plaque engraved "Major General Ralph J. Butchers Presented By Berlin Brigade September 1962". Overall height is 4". C) Brass mounted 7th Division emblem standing 4-1/2" high with plaque engraved "Maj Gen R.J. Butchers Korea 30 October 1961". D) Pair of cuff links, faces measuring 5/8" by 1-1/4", engraved "Admiral Austin K. Doyle U.S. Navy". E) Copy of the address delivered to the men of the USS New Jersey 15 April 1945 by Rear Admiral O.C. Badger. F) Cast aluminum plaque featuring a globe, anchors and Naval Aviator wing, on which is mounted a brass plaque engraved "Admiral W. F. Halsey Quarters". The plaque measures 10" by 10". F) Original photograph measuring 4-1/4" by 5-5/8" of a U.S. Navy Admiral. G) Folding file mounted with a U.S. Navy officer's cap badge, engraved plate which reads " Admiral Robert B. Carney for Stephen W. Bumball" and small note initialed "R.B.C." Interior mounted with a photograph of the signing of the Japanese surrender signed " Robt B Carney" and Japanese Government bank note signed "Vice Admiral Hillenkoetter September 2, 1945". Included in the file is a typed account of the Japanese surrender ceremony sighed by Admiral Robert B. Carney. CONDITION: All in excellent condition. From the Ray Bentley collection.
