25" Barrel is fitted with quarter rib holding one standing leaf rear sight, sleeved-on sling eye, and sleeved-on front ramp holding silver bead. Right side of reinforced area at breech end is engraved "BREVEX NO 459" and left side with caliber. Case hardened solid side wall Brevex type magnum length Mauser action has bolt shroud fitted with Model 70 type safety. Drop box bottom metal has deep hinged floorplate retained by button in trigger guard bow. Nicely marbled, dense European walnut steel capped pistol grip stock is uncheckered, and features left hand shadow line cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, and is fitted with thin, black, rifle pad. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished, retaining nearly all finishes on wood and metal, with some light handling marks including a fairly deep ding on left side of comb. Bore is excellent. Action is smooth. With a bit more work (checkering), this would make a great African rifle for a left handed shooter. MGM28
