Stickley Brothers, Grand Rapids, Mich., Arts & Crafts Tapered Magazine Stand, Model No. 4743, in quartersawn oak with 5 splined shelves fixed between flared slat sides. Over-coated original finish with small nail holes to sides at each shelf. The small nails were added sometime in the past, and have all been removed. The stand has been properly re-glued, and is solid, sturdy and structurally sound. Evidence of faded varnished stencil number under base. Some scratches, marks and wear consistent with age and use. Beautiful iconic form and design.
