The scroll painting in watercolor depicting a cat and 14 kittens playing with a flock of butterflies. Minor vertical crease in body of cat far right facing, small vertical crease at middle of scroll on the top edge, vertical crescent crease beneath two butterflies at center top edge, small vertical crease in three kitten grouping, vertical crease on kitten and cat upper left center, minor tears and losses at border of scroll backing, otherwise very good with crisp, clear color. No restoration or other damages noted. Note: Attributed to Xu Feng after painted by Xu Beihong. Additionally marked on verso at right end facing.
