One of the best quality .22 caliber sporting rifles money could buy. Built by Mauser; right side of stock has the Mauser banner in circle and top of frame has Mauser banner. Features frame factory cut for scope, military style 200 meter rear sight, ramp front sight, round barrel, round pistol grip checkered half stock, magazine fed repeater, wide finger groove forend and Mauser banner black composite buttplate. CONDITION: Frame and barrel retain approximately 90% original factory blue finish, starting to thin with evidence of patina showing through surface. Checkered trigger guard turning patina. Walnut buttstock is excellent to near mint with a few minor impressions. Comes with a period sling. Excellent bore and action. Beautiful little pre-war Mauser sporting rifle.
