Lot contains an assortment of badges, paperwork, and two edged weapons. (A) The Luftwaffe 1st Model Dagger with unmarked nickel plated blade is in very good condition with deep runner marks down the center of the blade. The nickel cross guard and pommel shows signs of oxidation and patina throughout. The leather grip has a chip near the top, has scattered marks throughout, and is missing its original wire wrapping. The leather wrapped scabbard rates very good. The fittings have scattered marks throughout with some freckling and even patina. The leather is nearly void of its fine blue pebbled finish and has a few holes. The aluminum chain appears to have been added or altered. (B) The German Dress Bayonet is in overall very good condition. The blade is nickel plated with light freckling near the ricasso and scattered light marks throughout. The hilt and grips are in very good condition with some lifting to the plating in areas. The black painted scabbard retains approximately 70% of its paint rating it as very good. (C) The assortment of badges includes an Iron Cross First Class in excellent condition with some minor paint loss to the core; a Steel Black Wound Badge in very good condition; a Luftwaffe Radio Operator Badge by "JMME" in excellent condition; an Early J2 Nickle Luftwaffe Flak Badge by Juncker in excellent condition but missing it catch; a Bronze Driver Proficiency Badge is near mint condition; a Zinc Party Badge by "M1/101" in very good condition with some paint loss; a Schlacht Geschwader Unit Pin missing its pin; and a Ribbon Bar in excellent condition. (D) Miscellaneous Paperwork to include a set of "Mail Home" Papers with two bayonets and a Luger with Serial Number "9518" listed on it; as well as an Arbeitsbuch (Work Book) in excellent condition. (E) Paper Fan Knife also is included in the lot. The blade shows a straight temper line and some freckling throughout. The wooden sheath is in excellent condition with two small cracks near the scabbard throat.
