Circa 1941, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Serial no. 4026. The chronometer mounted on gimble with 3-3/4" silver dial. Silver dial is in very good condition. Case has two hinged lids. The first for viewing, the second for inspection and winding; fitted with brass straps and carrying handles. One key is present. The chronometer fits within its original storage case which is included. Overall in very good condition. Chronometer appears to be wound very tight. Case is 7-1/2" x 7-1/2".
