The Corduroy Afrika Korps Pants are, overall, in excellent condition. The exterior of the pants are made of a coarse greenish-brown corduroy which is in near mint condition, with only a few scattered light marks. One of the four external belt loops is made of the same corduroy as the pants and appears to be original to the pants, while the other three loops are made of a green cotton twill and appear to be resewn to the pants. The internal belt is no longer with the pants. The buttons used for the fly area, as well as the suspenders, are dished zinc buttons and all appear to be intact. The internal waist area, as well as the pockets, are made of a white cotton twill which is in near mint condition. The size stamps and maker's mark are stamped in black ink on the front of the inside waistband. The Afrika Korps Heer Officer's Belt and Buckle is overall, in excellent condition. The belt is made of a webbing which shows a few scattered light marks, but no fraying. The two webbed belt keepers are present, as well as one added leather loop with D-ring. A size stamped in black ink is found on the end of the belt which reads "95". The green painted aluminum Heer Officer's Buckle is near mint. The green paint has a slight white residue in the recesses but retains 99% of its original green paint. The correct green buckle keeper is still attached to the belt.
