The barrels on these guns were made as cartridge barrels and reused a combination new out-of-production parts. This revolver was a remachined Model 1894 Pocket. Full or partial matching numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder, backstrap and trigger guard. Wedge is not numbered. Standard blue and case colored finish with brass straps a varnished one piece walnut grips. Rebated cylinder has the roll engraved stagecoach scene. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 75% original blue, starting to dull. Cylinder is basically brown patina with blue on cylinder recess. 30% case colors on left side of frame, 5% on right. Traces of silver plating. Excellent fitting walnut grips. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, clean bore with some light frosting. Beautiful 1870's conversion made as cartridge gun.
