30" Half round half octagon blued barrel has Remington Ilion markings on top flat which is uncut for rear sight. Front sight is windage adjustable and has spirit level. Case hardened rolling block action with blued block and hammer has patent dates and serial number on left side. Single trigger is set. Mid range vernier target sight is screwed to top tang. Nicely figured American walnut pistol grip stock measures 14 - 1/4" over case hardened steel buttplate. Borderless checkering with fancy front edge of pattern is at grip. Forend with steel tip matches well. Rifle is housed in green canvas case with brown leather trim. Case is lined in green felt, and has Remington No. 1 Rolling Block leather label in lid. CONDITION: Excellent, close to new, with only a few light marks in all factory finishes. Bore is excellent. Case is very fine with some scuffs. Interior is excellent. Rifle comes with its original parchment type paper broadside indicating the builder, its date, and the serial number. MGM 202
