Extremely fine, high quality manufactured Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun. "T" prefix serial number indicates this was not a standard production model gun, and may well have been a U.S. Navy contract gun. The model 76 was manufactured from 1967 to 1974 and normal production numbers had a "U" prefix. This select fire machine gun has an ambidextrous three-position selector; full, semi and safe, which makes it comfortable for persons who are left-handed as well as right-handed. One original Arabic marked magazine "14", "24" and "36". Hard composite pistol grip with swing-out shoulder loop with hard rubber casing to facilitate comfort to the firer under hot or cold conditions. Straight forward and easily disassembled for cleaning, this machine gun is a lot of fun to shoot, very durable and relatively inexpensive. Overall appearance and finish are extremely fine to near excellent with some handling marks. Original finish. Bright, shiny bore. Clean bolt face. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
