Item (A) Custom display features autographed photos of Adolf and Elizabeth Topperwein. The 6-1/2" x 5-1/2" photo of Adolf is signed "Sincerely Yours, "Ad" Topperwein" in black pen and has a rifle lapel pin attached that you can see on his collar in the picture. Elizabeth's photo measures 6-5/8" x 8" and is cropped on the lower left side with two little brass hangers where a souvenir once hung. It is signed "October 1st, 1941 To Bill and Sally with love from Plinky Topperwein". Plinky is holding a Winchester Model 12 shotgun. This display includes a metal disc with a hole shot through the center and a Mexican peso with several shots removing nearly the whole right side of the coin. There are two holes at the bottom of the matte where something else must have been at one time. Both photographs have several creases. This was one of the most famous exhibition shooting teams of the 20th century. They were internationally renown. Item (B) measures 14" x 11" framed. Advertisement for an upcoming shooting exhibit by the Topperweins, Plinky is holding a Model 12 and Ad is holding Winchester Model 1892. There is some age spotting on the upper left part of the poster, otherwise very good.
Item Dimensions: 25 - 1/2" x 19 - 1/2".
