Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfabriken in Berlin Germany The System Borchardt C93 pistol was one of the first successful magazine fed semi-automatic pistols sold commercially. It was also the first semi automatic pistol to be tested by the U.S. Military. BUG proofed on the left side of barrel. BU proofed of left side of receiver. D.R.P. No.75837 on center toggle link. Serial number on trigger, stock lug and at the magazine well on the frame. CONDITION: excellent with gun retaining approximately 95% of the original high polish rust blue finish. Finely checkered wood grips with a boarder. Matching numbered eight round nickel magazine. Good bore showing sharp lands and grooves. Comes with an un-numbered wood stock and a contemporary holster and straps. Cheek piece is un-numbered. Complete wood magazine cleaning kit. Cark Abermann gun grease tin in lather pouch. Comes in a contemporary Borchardt case with green felt lining. A very high condition and desirable gun. Provenance out of the John Siroonian collection.
