Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, Beech folding front sight, sporting rear sight, blued finish, walnut stock, rifle butt, case colored hammer, and deluxe checkered walnut stocks. CONDITION: The barrel retains 95% or better of its lustrous original high polish factory blue finish with razor sharp legends. Tube has basically turned to a soft, rich patina with some blue showing through. Frame and slide bar retain approximately 85-90% of the high polish factory blue finish with usual visible striations. Nice case colors still remain on hammer. Trigger guard is a mix of blue-brown turning brown at tang. Stocks are excellent plus with just a few minor dings and beautiful finish. Action is fine. Strong bore with sharp lands and some slight frosting to grooves. This is one nice looking medium frame Lightning that has seen little use.
