Made in 1877, this Grade III underlifter has damascus steel barrels with concave rib marked with Parker address. Gun has figured walnut buttstock with Parker skeleton steel butt and round knob pistol grip. Pinned splinter forearm with steel inlay. Engraved locks with pointing dogs on left and right locks and floral pattern on the hammers. CONDITION: Barrels have faded damascus pattern with good bores. Action has case that has turned a brownish-plum along with the metal parts. Stock has nice fading original finish with sharp diamond inlays and checkering on buttstock, while checkering is worn flat on forearm.
