Late P code series I. Early military commercial sub-variation. Manufactured by Krieghoff for commercial sales. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "H/anchor/K" and correct "(eagle) 2" Waffenamts. This is an all matching numbers. The side plate is numbered correctly but does not have an eagle two Waffenampt on it. Crown N proof marks on barrel, left side of receiver and left side of the frame. Magazine is numbered to the gun and is the correct plated extruded magazine. Six pointed rejection star under the right grip. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 96% of the original factory applied blue finish; straw small parts and just a bit of high edge wear. Ritzmann brown checkered grips with sharp checkering. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Approximately 50 were produced. Listed by serial number on page 76 of Gibson's book.
