28 Inch tapered round barrel with pedestal mounted blade sporting front sight and improvised slot blank in rear sight slot. Lyman model 21 "Climbin-Lyman" side sight mounted on receiver. Chambered for the 30 Army (30-40 Krag) cartridge. Fitted with Deluxe checkered highly figured XX crotch cut walnut stocks with hard rubber butt plate and ebony tipped Schnabel forearm. CONDITION. Very good with over 90% factory applied blue finish remaining with several areas of finish loss. Barrel has a three inch area of tarnished/discolored blue forward of forearm. Receiver has high point wear and finish loss on lever extension. Bore and mechanics are excellent. TDW
