Lot contains: (A) British army issue sun helmet displaying a Coldstream Guards shoulder title and hat badge on the front and red horsehair plume on one side. Interior issue label is dated 1926. (B) Khaki cloth covered pith helmet with quilted exterior, cotton lined interior embossed "Anaxogoras M Papas/ Nicosia./ Cyprus." and "General Agent For Cyprus./ Char. A. Kyriacoullis/ Nicosia.". Contained within a tin case, the exterior painted with a "VR" flaming bomb insignia and "Captain B. Risdon/ Grenadier Guards". (C) White enameled sun helmet with the interior with a crown label which reads "Gieves Ltd/ Royal Naval Outfitters/ 21 Old Bond Street/ London W." Leather and red satin sweatband. Housed in a Japanned tin container, on which is painted "S. M. Howard R.N." and displaying a brass plaque from Gieves. Container is in very good condition. CONDITION: All are in excellent condition.
