32" Two stripe Damascus barrels with matted rib are not maker marked. Boxlock type action is of early style, with no reinforcement on sides and sharp break off. Action is engraved with sprays of scroll within wiggle and geometric borders. "Ithaca Gun Co" is on both sides. Replacement figured American walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 - 5/8" over Ithaca embossed composition buttplate. Fancy back point pattern checkering is at grip. Original splinter forend has J-spring release. CONDITION: Very good to fine, as refurbished. Barrels retain over 70% original Damascus finish. Action has perhaps 30% case color. Tangs straightened to accommodate newer trap style buttstock, which retains nearly all of its original finish. Bores are fine, lightly frosted. Action is tight. MGM 229
