This fine little deluxe 65 features full round barrel, ramp front sight, rear sight blank, receiver peep sight, blued finish, deluxe sling swivels, deluxe triple X walnut stock with pistol grip and checkered steel buttplate. Nice screws. Only 1200 deluxe model 65 were made. This one is the rarest caliber. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 98% reapplied blue, thinning at muzzle. Forend cap and frame retain approximately the same amount of reapplied blue. Lever has about 10% blue, balance flaked. Wood has sharp checkering, slightly shy to metal, refinished at one time, with beautiful grain. For some reason someone put a brass spacer between the forearm and the forearm cap. Strong, clean bore.
