Original single decal Fallschirmjaeger helmet shell in overall good condition. The entire helmet, except the decal, has been brush painted in a black paint. The interior was then painted in a light tan color, some of which is on the left side of the exterior as well. Size markings are illegible due to the coats of paint, but it appears to be a size 68 shell. The lot number on the rear interior rim appears to be "6051". Original era applied decal is in 80-85% condition, with its lacquer coating still present. Helmet retains its original steel spanner bolts, with the inner helmet nuts. The outer nuts are missing. Bolts and nuts are tight and frozen. Helmet should make a great restoration project, as the postwar applied over paint might be able to be removed.
