Lot contains: (A) Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment, Kings crown front plate of silver and gilt brass. Gilt brass metal fittings including rose bosses and quatrefoil mount with spike, missing chain. Interior with tan leather and red silk sweatband, green cotton visor linings. CONDITION: Interior exhibits moderate service wear. (B) The Royal Irish Regiment dress helmet, Queens crown front plate of silver and gilt brass. Gilt brass metal fittings including rose bosses, quatrefoil mount with spike and chain. Interior with tan leather sweatband and white quilted silk lining, green cotton visor linings. CONDITION: Helmet exhibits moderate service wear to the interior and visor edging.
Condition: Very good
