Circa 1870's-1880's, Sioux tomahawk with forged iron trade ax head, brass wire wrapped haft that has been drilled for smoking. Retains its original fully beaded sinew sewn buckskin drop. Beadwork on drop is executed with a white beaded field, dark blue spaced bands, and red and yellow centers between bands. Length of drop with fringe 12". Length of haft is 25". Length of ax head is 8".

Condition: (Very Good).
