This fine early small sword is very well constructed with a steel grip, urn pommel, shell guard inset with steel rivets and pie crust border. The knuckle guard with inset steel rivets and chevron decoration. The fluted three sided long slender blade of polished steel. Leather scabbard with chape and steel locket en suite with decoration on hilt. Blade length is 31", overall length 40". CONDITION: Very good with only minor staining and no real rust or pitting. Leather scabbard appears to be original, tender but intact. Blade appears to retain some original polish with minor staining, slight bend at tip.
