Rare Romanian contract Beretta Model 1934 with matching numbers and non-import marked. Approximately 40,000 of these pistols were contract by Romania in 1941 but have an extremely low survival rate. A number of these were imported in the early 2000 time frame but had aftermarket barrels, were import marked and refinished. This matching example retains most all of its factory applied blue finish and the distinctive slide marking of "9MM SCURT" (Romanian for 9mm Corto). Black plastic monogram grips with steel liners and lanyard loop with finger rest magazine. CONDITION: Bore is exceptional and mechanics are crisp. Blue finish is very good. A very hard to find example in original configuration.
