Offered is a Smith & Wesson 38 Combat Masterpiece with the following features: fixed and pinned Baughman front sight with serrated ramp, adjustable rear, matte rib, pinned barrel, six shot fluted non-recessed cylinder, case colored service hammer and service trigger, square butt five screw K frame, serrated checkering on front and back straps and trigger, and Magna style checkered walnut silver medallion grips with diamond escutcheons numbered to gun. Comes with boxed numbered to a different gun on the bottom. Right side of frame has Smith & Wesson trademark and company information. CONDITION: Gun is in excellent used condition and retains a solid 95+% gun with scattered handling marks, some slight muzzle wear, a light cylinder drag line, and some wear around cylinder release. Bore is lightly frosted with good rifling with strong lands and grooves. Box is in good condition with all aprons. Box has scattered marks from storage including one apron that is starting to peel. A nice Combat Masterpiece.
