Copy of a Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine in Trapper configuration, made in Italy by Uberti and imported by Dixie Gun Works in Union City, Tennessee. Gun has high polish blued finish with brass caliber marked elevator. Blued frame has saddle ring and is stocked with walnut carbine style buttplate with sliding door for cleaning rod. Carbine rear sight and blade front. CONDITION: Barrel retains 90% blue with excellent bore. Frame retains 90% blue with some light speckling on the left of the receiver. There is also a shadow from the ring on the left. Wood retains 90% original hand rubbed finish with some small handling marks.
