In 1971, for the 100th anniversary of the NRA Colt produced 6,949 special commemoratives in three barrel lengths and two calibers; we do not have a precise breakdown of how many in each barrel length and caliber. Features blue and case colored finish, six shot, fluted cylinder with plain walnut grips, special medallion and special barrel inscription on left side. CONDITION: Does not appear to have been fired but has some fine line scratches on the cylinder; still a solid 99%. Comes in its original walnut display case with original instruction booklet and key.
