Includes original wooden box and a total of 15 figures of people and animals. These include two glass eyed billy goats, a painted eye horse, three clowns, a show pony with a female acrobat riding on top, Ring Master, glass eyed elephant with blanket and head cover, small elephant with painted eyes, painted eyed dog, glass eyed donkey, and a hobo. There are also various barrels, chairs and ladders. Comes in period wooden crate, very nice and not belonging to the set. There is a partial original box lid that is affixed to the inside of the wooden box. There has been some repair work and some reclothing to some of the figures, including the hobo, the small elephant, the African American gentleman, and a few others. Tusks have been repaired, a new hat given, and some repainting. Various conditions. A nice set with some good figures; it is hard to find such a nice grouping. Lot also includes reprinted Schoenhut catalog.
