Non engraved CPA Stevens 44-1/2 reproduction action. Fitted with a No. 5 Schuetzen lever as would be found on a Model 51. Buttstock is checkered and has a rifle design with a cheekpiece and is made out of a truly extraordinary stock wood. There are two letters, probably initials, lightly scratched on the bottom of the pistol grip. Reproduction forearm in the Stevens style with two screw design and nicely checkered. Barrel is half octagon, No. 4 weight, and marked Paul Shuttleworth on top flat. Serial number on bottom of action. Unertl 1-1/2 target scope of 10x power is fitted, as well as a globe front sight. CONDITION: Some grain separation in buttstock. Scope is in excellent condition. Forearm is in excellent condition. Gun appears to have seen little no to use. An impressive rifle that would be a great bench rest rifle. Good action, excellent bore. TR
