Action is fitted with double set triggers, scroll engraved. Action face stamped 54 and is fitted with a typical lever for this model. Sights are a globe front and a Stevens-Vernier windage adjustment rear, with no provisions for a scope. Buttstock is finely figured wood and fitted with a Schuetzen Special buttplate. Forearm is two screw Stevens style with exquisite checkering. No. 3 weight, half octagon barrel is correctly numbered to action. CONDITION: Case colors on action have faded. Buttstock finish is in excellent condition with only a few scratches, bumps, and handling marks. Buttplate has faded case colors. Forearm has small easily reparable split at tip, otherwise has minor handling marks and dents. Good action, excellent bore. Barrel blue is very thin underneath, obviously from shooting off a rest. Top of the barrel shows majority of the blue with wear showing at sharp edges and muzzle. TR
