This yellow brass register came from the Golden Gate Saloon, later known as the Golden Gate Bar in downtown Salt Lake. The extensive wear on the 10¢ and 15¢ keys reveals the price of beer at the time. The bar closed in 1972. Serial No. 1126377W indicates it was manufactured in 1912 and is one of the wide models. It has 33 keys and was cast in the Dolphin pattern.
