This dainty .410 gauge was made with chopper lump barrels and features a narrow tapered top rib with steel front bead. The rear lug features makers names of Dante, Mario, Poli, Remo, and Tony. Flats with serial number and makers stamp of "A&S". Top of left tube inlaid in gold "Abbiatico & Salvinelli". The small splinter forend is checkered in diamond point pattern with engraved and gold inlaid external iron, with makers crest in gold at center. Gun made with auto-ejectors, non-selective single trigger, and non-auto safety. The beautifully figured lightly colored straight grained straight grip buttstock is checkered in two point pattern with carved tear drops behind action and terminates in a nicely checkered butt. The action is full coverage engraved with very tightly engraved scroll with fine gold accents. The fine scroll with gold accents continues on to the long tang rolled edge trigger guard and the top of the action as well as the top lever. Bottom of the action has a small banner at center which is gold inlaid "Abbiatico & Salvinelli" in two line banner. The engravers signature "G. Sabatti, Inc." is found on trigger plate near front of trigger guard bow. The gun is housed in its original Nizzoli brand brown leather case with red velvet interior and included in the case are snap caps and oil bottle. CONDITION: Gun remains in near mint, likely test fired only condition. Our consignor purchased the gun new and has not fired it. Bores are brilliant and shiny, mechanics are crisp. There are only the most minute of handling marks observed throughout. The case is in excellent original condition with only minor scrapes and soiling. Simply stunning; you will easily have the most beautiful gun amongst your friends if you bring this on your next quail hunt!
